Prior to making wine, Gabrio Bini was an eccentric architect in Milan, and that comes through in this spicy red wine. On the volcanic Mediterranean island of Pantelleria, Gabrio biodynamically farms the rare grape, pignatello, to make a red that's light in color yet complex and seriously structured. Its flavors - like amarena cherry, candied orange, and espresso - are simultaneously rich and lifted.
