Benanti is responsible for showing the world that Mount Etna could produce world-class wines. Or more specifically, their ‘Pietra Marina’ proved that Etna Bianco could be collected alongside the very best Chablis and White Burgundy. A few decades later, it remains their most-prized bottling. From old vines way up on the slopes of this Sicilian volcano, ‘Pietra Marina’ is deep and intensely concentrated with crisp acidity and saltiness that keep it fresh.
