As with Berthaut-Gerbet in Fixin, Dureuil-Janthial in Rully, and Didier Fornerol in Corgoloin, Charles Audoin was the driving force behind the village of Marsannay gaining a serious reputation in Burgundy. Charles, and now his son Cyril, make a range of single-vineyard wines that showcase the potential of this area in the northern reaches of the Cote de Nuits. Only 600 bottles of this textured, mineral-driven White Burgundy are made each year.
