Georges Noëllat is one of the great domaines in Vosne-Romanée. After a few decades that saw Noëllat’s land split up - forming the majority of Domaine Leroy - and its wines sold to Drouhin and Jadot, 20 year-old Maxime Cheurlin took over his family’s estate in 2010. A nephew of Jayer and cousin of Emmanuel Rouget’s sons, Maxime quickly established himself as one of the brightest talents in Burgundy. While all good Vosne has richness and velvety texture, Maxime’s are notable for their precision and elegance as well.
