Hervé Villemade, Cheverny Blanc 2023

This crisp, refreshing white wine comes from Cheverny, about a two-hour drive west of Sancerre in the Loire Valley. In this cool area along the southern banks of the Loire River, Hervé Villemade organically farms sauvignon blanc and chardonnay. The former gives his Cheverny Blanc fresh citrus notes and bright aromatics, while the smaller portion of chardonnay contributes texture and smoothness.
