Lignier’s Grand Crus are an embarrassment of riches. Clos de la Roche is the Grand Cru for which the Ligniers are most famous. It is a synthesis of Vougeot’s muscle and the aromatic finesse of Charmes. To be so massive and nuanced a trick that only the best Grand Crus can pull off.
