In exceptional vintages, the Heredia family makes a small quantity of Gran Reserva bottlings. These spend more time in oak - sometimes upwards of a decade - leading to concentrated flavors that encompass the whole spice rack. This silky, smoky red is drinking well today, but Gran Reservas from López can age seamlessly for a half-century.
