Parcelle Wine Bar: 135 Division Street, NYC | Click here to make a reservation
Aglianco is a deep, bitter grape, but Marco Tinessa makes it a more vibrant, natural style at his small winery in downtown Milan. The wine is aged in old clay pots, not oak, so the style is transparent and pure rather than heavy. It has rich, tangy flavors of wild berries and balsamic, with enough funk to keep each sip more interesting than the last. This is steak wine, but also a "put on a vinyl and crush some pizza with friends" wine.
