Occhipinti, Terre Siciliane Bianco 'SP68' 2024

Arianna Occhipinti is Sicily’s most exciting winemaker. In her hometown on the southeastern corner of the island, she biodynamically farms native grape varieties, and produces lively, nuanced natural wines. Arianna’s uncle, Giusto Occhipinti, helped redefine Sicilian winemaking in the 20th century. Arianna is doing the same for the 21st.

Named for the country road in Arianna’s hometown of Vittoria where Occhipinti is based, this natural white is a blend of two Sicilian grape varieties - zibibbo and albanello. Two weeks of skin-contact amplifies the aromatics and savory notes, while saltiness and bright acidity keep it fresh.
