Piuze, 'Bougros' Grand Cru Chablis 2024

Patrick Piuze is a Chablis producer worth a deep dive. Originally from Montreal, Piuze worked in Burgundy with Jean-Marie Guffens, Olivier Leflaive, and Jean-Marc Brocard before venturing out on his own. Organic farming, hand-harvesting old vines, picking early - Patrick does everything he can to highlight the individual character of each of his vineyards. Bougros tends to yield some of the richest wines in Chablis. Piuze balances its weight by harvesting early, resulting in a powerful yet defined grand cru Chablis.
