Weiser-Künstler, Riesling Kabinett 'Ellergrub' 2024

Weiser-Künstler is currently making some of the most exciting riesling in the Mosel, if not all of Germany. The husband-and-wife duo of Konstantin Weiser and Alexandra Künstler organically farm ancient vines - doing everything by hand - to produce small quantities of old-school rieslings. While each vineyard has its own distinctive identity, the wines all share a throughline of delicacy and high-acid energy. Another attribute they share in spades is value (for now).

Weiser-Künstler’s parcel of the Ellergrub is made up of 110+ year old vines, which are the heart and soul of the estate. The Kabinett packs dense minerality and intense aromatics into a 7.5% frame like only Mosel riesling can.
