Weiser-Künstler, Riesling Feinherb 2024

Weiser-Künstler is currently making some of the most exciting riesling in the Mosel, if not all of Germany. The husband-and-wife duo of Konstantin Weiser and Alexandra Künstler organically farm ancient vines - doing everything by hand - to produce small quantities of old-school rieslings. While each vineyard has its own distinctive identity, the wines all share a throughline of delicacy and high-acid energy. Another attribute they share in spades is value (for now).

This riesling offers a perfect snapshot of the 2024 vintage at Weiser-Künstler. It’s light (9% alcohol) and intensely mineral, with searing acidity balancing a bit of sweetness.
