Weiser-Künstler, Riesling Kabinett 'Sonnenlay' 2024

Weiser-Künstler is currently making some of the most exciting riesling in the Mosel, if not all of Germany. The husband-and-wife duo of Konstantin Weiser and Alexandra Künstler organically farm ancient vines - doing everything by hand - to produce small quantities of old-school rieslings. While each vineyard has its own distinctive identity, the wines all share a throughline of delicacy and high-acid energy. Another attribute they share in spades is value (for now).

The Sonnenlay is off-dry and deeply textured, but still elegant and notably fresh.
