Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the most renowned winery on the planet, and its owner, Aubert de Villaine, is one of the world’s most revered winemakers. While Aubert primarily produces red wines at DRC, the focus at his eponymous domaine is whites. A half hour south of DRC in the village of Bouzeron, he uses aligoté to make a white wine that’s deep, salty, and refreshing.
