The Cornu family has lived in the Burgundian town of Echevronne since the thirteenth century, and you’ll find their winery there today. So, it’s safe to say that they understand the area pretty darn well. Lydia Cornu & Christophe Pertuzot make this midweight, subtly toasty white wine from Savigny-les-Beaune. Along with Simon Bize and Chantereves, this is further evidence that the village has become a prime source of elegant, richly textured White Burgundy.
Tastes like: Yellow apple, acacia, toasted hazelnuts.
How to drink: A perfect seafood pairing, but also delicious with soft cheeses or grilled chicken.
