Domaine Corsin, Saint-Véran 'Tirage Précoce' 2022

The Mâconnais - home to Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran - is a particularly warm area at the southern end of Burgundy. While the warmth and sunshine were, at one point, welcomed, they now often produce rich, overly fruity white wines. Not, however, at Domaine Corsin. Gilles Corsin was decades ahead of the curve in taking steps - in both the vineyard and cellar - to keep his wines salty and focused. Now in the hands of 6th-generation Jérémy Corsin, the family’s old, heat-tolerant vines continue to yield some of the most sculpted, nuanced White Burgundy in Mâcon.
