Domaine des Côtes Rousses, Mondeuse 'Les Montagnes Rousses' 2021

Savoie has always been a source of easy-drinking white wines, but in the last decade, it’s also become home to some of France’s most singular reds. This biodynamic mondeuse from Nicolas Ferrand is one of them. Nicolas’s steep vineyards, which are plowed by horse, receive lots of sunshine, giving the wine surprising depth and richness despite its relatively low alcohol and lean frame.

Tastes like: Black cherry, violets, thyme, black pepper.

How to Drink: Lightly chilled with burgers, pepperoni pizza, or a cheese and charcuterie board.
