Domaine Lesuffleur, Cider 'Cerqueux' 2017

Just 30 years old, Benoit splits his time between Paris - where he’s a wine broker representing domaines like Lafarge and Henri Germain - and Normandy, where his family has been growing apples for generations. From the best of his family’s orchards, he hand-picks a bunch of heritage apple and pear varieties to make ciders using the same method as Champagne.

‘Cerqueux’ is made with pears rather than apples. The result is a cider that’s lighter, a bit more refreshing, and easy to drink with or without food.
