Envínate, Misturado de Abeleda 2021

If you’re not familiar, Envínate is arguably the most exciting producer in Spain. And if you are, then know that these wines are as good as any reds they’ve ever released. They’re all made naturally in the remote (absolutely gorgeous) region of Ribeira Sacra in Galicia. These are savory, spicy red wines that are wildly undervalued considering the quality.

This is a field blend of local red (65%) and white (35%) grapes from 100-year old vines. It sounds unusual, but it tastes delicious. It’s a vibrant, refreshing wine that makes for an ideal chilled red.
