The brother-and-sister team of Paul and Marie Jacqueson are currently making some of the best wines in the Côte Chalonnaise. They coax depth and texture out of Burgundy’s oft-unheralded white grape variety, aligoté, like few others in the region. From a small plot of 75 year-old vines, they craft this White Burgundy that’s crisp, toasty, and nuanced.
Tastes like: Yellow apple, honeysuckle, salted biscuits.
How to drink: Chilled alongside soft cheeses or cooked seafood.
