Over the last couple decades, the quality of Saint-Aubin has experienced hockey stick growth. Coinciding with that has been the rise of Jérome Fornerot. Since launching his own domaine in the early ‘00s, his whites have become some of the best sources of value in Burgundy. Fornerot makes this bottling from old vines - some of which were planted in the 1920s - which receive a heavy dose of sunshine, leading to the most powerful and opulent white wine in his lineup.
Tastes like: Apricot, smoke, honey.
How to drink: Chilled but not cold with veal or grilled swordfish.
