Not far from the eastern shores of Lake Garda in northern Italy, Matilde Poggi and her three daughters make this white wine from the local grape, garganega. Those grapes are farmed organically and harvested by hand, before an extensive aging regimen in cement tanks. The result is a wine that’s crisp, mineral-driven, and more finessed than most whites from the Veneto.
Tastes like: Peach, lemongrass, sea salt.
How to drink: Chilled alongside simply-prepared seafood or linguine with lemon cream sauce.
