Like countless elite names in Burgundy - Lafon, de Montille, Leflaive, etc - David Duband launched a side project in order to make wines from new areas of Burgundy at more approachable price-points. So nearly 20 years after taking over his family winery, he started Les Terres de Phileandre - named after his twins, Philomène and Léandre - in 2018. His lifted, peppery, perfumed style of Red Burgundy is on full display here.
