The Languedoc region of southern France produces a ton of wine, and to be frank, not a lot of it is worth going out of your way for. The wines from Mas Coutelou are major exceptions. This one is a blend of syrah and carignan, which combine to make a dark, intensely savory red wine.
Tastes like: Black cherry, black pepper, violets, leather.
How to Drink: This is an ideal wine to crack open anytime someone fires up the grill.
