Maxime Cheurlin-Noëllat, Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits 2019

The best (and only) strategy for finding great value in Burgundy is to seek out region-level wines from top producers. The Noëllat family is one of those producers. Not far from his family’s legendary holdings in Vosne-Romanée, Maxime Cheurlin uses old-vine pinot noir to produce this floral, elegant wine.

Tastes like: Wild strawberry, roses, freshly plowed soil, vanilla.
How to drink: Enjoy it with roast chicken and morels, or a nice cheese board.
