This highly refreshing sparkling wine is made using the same method as Champagne, but it comes from Alsace, a region in eastern France on the German border. It includes chardonnay and pinot noir, but the majority of the blend is composed of two local grapes, auxerrois and pinot blanc. Those grapes, which Félix Meyer farms organically, yield a bone-dry sparkling wine that’s crisp and tropically fruited.
Tastes like: Pineapple, acacia, nutmeg, hazelnuts.
How to drink: Ideal on its own, or alongside soft cheeses and salty snacks.
