Moritz Kissinger is one of the most exciting young winemakers in Germany. In the Rheinhessen region - about a 20-minute drive from the legendary Klaus-Peter Keller - Moritz makes this natural red wine from a blend of pinot noir, merlot, and the local dornfelder grape. The result is savory like Rhone syrah, yet packaged in a lithe and easy-drinking frame.
Tastes like: Wild raspberry, sage, black pepper, leather.
How to drink: Lightly chilled with burgers or cheese and charcuterie.
