Salomon Undhof, Grüner Veltliner 'Von Stein' 2004

The Salomons have been making wine in Austria’s Wachau since 1792. Their grüners are known for their clarity and purity of fruit. With age, they bring to mind the transparency and quiet elegance of great Chablis. Fruit flavors turn into honey ones while still staying crisp.

Tastes like: Honeydew, Targon, white pepper
How to drink: With fried chicken - whether that’s Popeyes, katsu, or schnitzel.

*Opening old wine can be tricky. Many corks are fragile, and if you’re not careful, can break. Just because a cork crumbles doesn't mean the wine’s off. If you're new to buying old wine or curious about the condition, just reach out.

Please note: we aren’t able to take returns of any corked or damaged bottles.
