Terra Vita Vinum, VdF Rouge 'Infusions' 2022

Terra Vita Vinum is a new project in the Loire that’s rapidly gaining a following for its smoky whites and bright, aromatic reds. This example of the latter is made from a blend of cabernet franc, grolleau, and gamay. Luc Briand and Bénédicte Petit farm biodynamically, and utilize a winemaking technique common in Beaujolais to produce a particularly fresh, peppery, chillable red.

Tastes like: Raspberry, black pepper, Autumn leaves, peonies.
How to drink: Chilled with charcuterie, chicken and veggie skewers, or on its own.
