Bodega Chacra, Chardonnay 2021
This is our favorite chardonnay on this side of the Atlantic. It’s made by Chacra, a winery in a little-known place for winemaking: northern Patagonia in Argentina. The people behind Chacra, however, are as well-known as it gets: Jean-Marc Roulot and Piero Incisa (the producer of Sassicaia). Together, they make this wine, which is quickly becoming our favorite chardonnay on this side of the Atlantic.
Tastes like: Ripe peach, sea salt, toasted almonds.
How to drink: Not too cold, alongside pan-seared scallops or your cooked seafood of choice.
