Domaine Camille Thiriet, Clos Vougeot 2021

Until recently, Camille Thiriet made wine in a garage in Burgundy that had no electricity or running water. In other words, ‘artisanal’ didn’t really do it justice. While her production is still limited, she and her partner, Matt Chittick, have expanded their operation in the Côte de Nuits. They make a truly miniscule amount of concentrated, deeply aromatic wine from the legendary grand cru vineyard of Clos Vougeot.
