Domaine Camille Thiriet, Côte de Nuits Villages 'Aux Montagnes' 2021

Until recently, Camille Thiriet made wine in a garage in Burgundy that had no electricity or running water. In other words, ‘artisanal’ didn’t really do it justice. While her production is still limited, she and her partner, Matt Chittick, have expanded their operation in the Côte de Nuits. From 50+ year-old vines in front of Camille’s parents’ house in Comblanchien, 'Aux Montagnes' is simultaneously ripe and smooth, as well as bright and floral.
