The Cornu family has lived in the Burgundian town of Echevronne since the thirteenth century, and you’ll find their winery there today. So, it’s safe to say that they understand the area pretty darn well. They make this round, subtly toasty White Burgundy from a single vineyard in Savigny-les-Beaune. Like Simon Bize and Chandon de Briailles, Cornu-Camus shows that whites from the village can punch far above their weight for the price.
Tastes like: Yellow apple, acacia, toasted hazelnuts.
How to drink: A perfect seafood pairing, but similarly well suited to chicken francese.
