Cassiopée was launched by Hugo Mathurin and Talloulah Dubourg, who had previously worked at places like Mugnier and Clos de Tart. Jean-Marc Roulot essentially wrote their reference letter into the collectible Burgundy market. A couple years later, and Cassiopée is getting the hype it fully deserves. In their home village of Maranges, 'Les Côtes' is located on the site of an old forest, which comes through in this earthy, savory red wine.
