Domaine de Montille is one of the most historic producers in all of Burgundy. While the Volnay-based estate dates back centuries, the scope of their range and the quality of their wines have reached new levels under Etienne de Montille. Le Clos du Château is a monopole, meaning the walled-off vineyard bordering Puligny-Montrachet is owned and exclusively helmed by de Montille. It yields a textured White Burgundy with de Montille’s classic smokiness and precision.
