Domaine des Moriers is currently making some of our favorite wines in Beaujolais. Perhaps that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering the project comes from François de Nicolay, who runs the iconic Chandon de Briailles in Burgundy. Here in Moulin-à-Vent, François makes a deep, earthy red wine lifted by Beaujolais’ classic bright fruit and freshness.
Tastes like: Strawberry, black pepper, mushroom, leather.
How to drink: Lightly chilled with burgers, veal, or grilled fish.
