Stéphane Tissot is the first name people associate with the Jura. That’s due to the fact that he’s a benchmark for local styles and grape varieties, a torchbearer for the natural wine movement, and a source of wines that has brought the Jura into the global wine discourse. Their wines are on the right side of natural, meaning they are a little bit wild but still delicious.
This chardonnay is salty and savory, and tastes more like White Burgundy than most Jura whites. Pair this with comté cheese for optimal results.
