Gérard Boulay is one of our favorite producers in Sancerre. His family has been growing grapes in the village of Chavignol since 1380, and today, he organically farms old vines on Sancerre’s most renowned vineyards. From the same soil found in Chablis, Boulay crafts Sancerre that’s mineral and concentrated yet crisp and refreshing. This is a wine you’ll want to have on-hand all summer long.
Tastes like: Lime zest, salted grapefruit, smoke.
How to drink: Chilled alongside oysters, crudo, or a salad with goat cheese.
