While most Muscadet is light, citrusy, and not a whole lot else, Jean-Baptiste Hardy does things his own way. Following years working at world-renowned wineries, including both Roulot and Leflaive in Burgundy, Jean-Baptiste began making wines in the Loire in 2020. His old-vine grapes and practice of extended aging prior to release result in a textured, highly refreshing white wine.
Tastes like: Lemon juice, toast, sea salt, smoke.
How to drink: Ice cold with sushi, soft cheeses, or all kinds of simply prepared seafood.
