In Catalonia inland from Spain’s Mediterranean coast, Josep Grau organically farms local grape varieties to make bright red wines. As is common in neighboring Priorat, the main grapes in this red are grenache and carignan. The former contributes juicy red fruit, while the latter adds structure and herbal, savory notes.
