Bárbara Requejo Frutos, who previously worked at Château Haut-Brion in Bordeaux and Pierre Peters in Champagne, crafts fresh, savory garnacha (grenache) in the rugged mountains west of Madrid. This is her first-ever release of ‘Pelito Lindo’. It’s a peppery, floral red that reminds us of the greats from the Southern Rhone or finessed wines from the Canary Islands.
