Luís Seabra, Xisto Ilimitado Branco 2023

For the last 20 years, Luís Seabra has been at the forefront of a ‘New Portugal’ wine movement. Local grape varieties, site-specific winemaking, and a focus on fresher, easier-drinking whites and reds. Luís has championed it all. He crafts this medium-bodied, smoky white from a blend of grapes, primarily rabigato and gouveio, in the schist soils of the Douro Valley.

Tastes like: Peach, brioche, smoke, white pepper.

How to drink: Chilled with seafood, or anytime you need a solid stand-in for White Burgundy.
