Tempier, Bandol Rosé 2025

Tempier belongs on any shortlist of the world's best rosé. It transcends seasonality, and should be enjoyed all year long. That said, nothing tops Tempier in the summertime.

Domaine Tempier is an iconic estate run by the equally iconic Peyraud family in Bandol, a village in Provence in southeastern France. Their rosé is made primarily from mourvèdre, which is farmed organically a few miles from the Mediterranean coast. Bright, floral, and subtly spicy, this is simply as good as rosé gets.
