M. Lapierre, Morgon 'Cuvée N' 2023

Morgon produces the most Burgundy-like wines in Beaujolais. That’s especially true when at the hands of a producer like Lapierre. Responsible for spurring France’s natural wine movement in the ‘80s, Lapierre remains a benchmark for the region. The 'Cuvée N' – the N signifies no added sulfur – is bright and refreshing, while still spicy and powerful enough to stand up to red meat.

Tastes like: Raspberry, roses, plum, black pepper.
How to drink: Serve slightly chilled alongside burgers, heavier seafood dishes, or roast chicken.
