Marguet, 'Shaman' Grand Cru 2018

We just received a range of wines from one of the most exciting ‘grower producers’ in Champagne - Benoît Marguet. Benoît is at the forefront of the region’s natural wine movement. He makes biodynamic wines - Benoît’s two horses handle all the plowing - that receive minimal added sulfur, and no dosage (added sugar). The result is pure, vibrant Champagne.

 ‘Shaman’ is a blend of pinot noir (2/3) and chardonnay (1/3), which are farmed organically and biodynamically. The result is Champagne that’s extra crisp and extra dry, full of spice and mineral-driven flavors.
