Paolo Bea is one of the world’s great natural winemakers, and one of our favorite producers in Italy, natural or otherwise. In the hills of Umbria, Paolo Bea, whose family roots in the region date back more than five centuries, uses local grape varieties to make tiny quantities of organic wines. Like all of his bottlings, this red is powerful and savory, yet fresh, fruity, and a bit wild.
