Tempier, 'Cuvée Cabassaou' Bandol 1992 Double-Magnum

$850

Domaine Tempier lies in the small region of Provence in the south of France, right on the Mediterranean. You may already recognize the Tempier name, the most important in the region, because of their delicious rosé but their Bandol rouge, made with Mourvèdre, is what they’re really known for- intense, age-worthy, and wine. We’ve sourced a few of the rarest bottlings, check out the entire collection.

Oh, and these wines get notoriously better with age.

Cuvée Cabassaou comes from vines that are 50yrs + old- which is a good thing. Old vines mean touch more complexity and a little bit more personality. Expect some funky bordeaux-esque flavors.
