While Vietti is best known for its highly-collectible Barolo, it also prides itself on making serious wines from Piedmont’s more accessible grapes, like barbera. Barbera is inherently bright and easy-drinking, and while that’s the case here, Vietti’s version also has depth and richness that makes it highly versatile with food.
Tastes like: Blackberry, violet, chocolate, white pepper.
How to drink: Lightly chilled with charcuterie or chicken parm.
