Viña Zorzal, Navarra Graciano 2023

In Navarra, a lesser-known region bordering Rioja, the Sanz brothers took over their family estate in 2007. They immediately shifted the focus to smaller-production, organic wines made from local varieties, starting with the red grape, graciano. While best known as a blending grape in Rioja, Vina Zorzal takes the rare step of letting it shine on its own. The result is a medium-bodied red wine that showcases graciano’s bright acidity and floral, spicy aromatics.

Tastes like: Blackberry, black pepper, lavender, savory herbs.
How to drink: Alongside grilled lamb, chorizo, or barbecue.
