Sierra de Gredos - a rugged, mountainous area west of Madrid - is currently the most exciting red wine region in Spain. Like Comando G, Las Pedreras and Raúl Pérez, 4 Monos takes advantage of Gredos’ high-elevation garnacha (grenache) vines to produce vibrant, savory red wines. The ‘GR-10’ is floral, peppery, and juicy. A versatile, medium-bodied red wine.
Tastes like: Plum, roses, thyme, black pepper.
How to drink: With cured meats, or everything on your plate at Thanksgiving.
